Pav Sina

President

Pav Sina founded the Collective Union of Workers' Movement in 2010. CUMW is a grassroots organization which aims to improve the lives of all workers in Cambodia, from garment workers to construction workers to service industry workers. He has fought tirelessly ever since for the rights and benefits of all workers in Cambodia and has been successful at bringing about change throughout Cambodia.

Saun Sopha

Vice President

Saun Sopha from Prey Veng Province joined CUMW in June 2010 as a grassroots leader. She is also a member of the Women's Commission, which encouraged and supported her in running for Vice President of CUMW. On April 29, 2020, she was elected Vice President.

Preap Munysovann

General Secretary

Preap Munysovann, from Kampot Province has been working for CUMW since 2010. He is General secretary of CUMW and responsible for International Communication and Cooperation. He has been an active member in the development of CUMW since its inception and has worked hard to promote the rights of workers in Cambodia.

Tuon Saren

Treasurer

Treasurer for the Collective Union of Movement of Workers, Tuon Saren, is from Kampong Speu. He has been with the organization since 2010. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and searching for information.

Ken Chhenglang

Officer

Chhenglang Ken is a Cambodian labor leader who has been active in the improvement of working conditions, wage increases, and respect for labor rights since 1997. She is also concerned with gender equality, national social security fund (NSSF), and human resources training.

"CUMW has played an important role in demanding improvements in working conditions and actively participating in the Freedom of Movement Campaign for our Union Workers."

Ly Hour

Officer

Ly Hour is a translator for the Collective Union of Movement of Workers. He has been working for CUMW since 2014, translating Chinese into Khmer. Prior to joining the trade union movement, Ly Hour worked at a garment factory in Phnom Penh.

"In the future, I think that CUMW will become a union body that is not only famous locally but also internationally."

Mouv Mara

Officer

Mara Maov has been working in CUMW since 2016. He is currently in charge of Media. Mara comes from Kampong Thom and is passionate about social justice, human rights, and gender equality.

Prum BunThorn

Officer

Prum Bun Thorn is a native of Svay Rieng Province, Cambodia. He joined the Collective Union of Movement of Workers as Labor and Training Officer for Workers' Equitable Training.

Sok Khemra

Officer

Sok Khemra has been a part of the Collective Union of Movement of Workers since 2016. He comes from Svay Rieng Province, where he works as an officer.

"In my view, the future of CUMW will continue to be a legitimate claim for workers' rights and benefits."

Sot Chet

Officer

Sot Chet comes from Takeo province and joined the Collective Union of Movement of Workers in 2010. He is currently a dispute settlement officer for the organization, where he helps workers resolve issues with employers.

"I think the Collective Union of Movement of Workers will become a stronger union of international organizations."

Yoeun Yoeung

Officer

Yoeun Yoeung is from Kampong Thom and works as an Officer of the Collective Union of Movement of Workers in Phnom Penh City where he has been living and working since 2014.  

"CUMW will become the largest independent body in Cambodia and have a standard in its own organisation to help the member workers and institutions to resolve labor disputes quickly and effectively."

Bun Sothy

Officer

Bun Sothy joined the Collective Union of Movement of Workers in 2017. He hails from Prey Veng and currently works as a coordinator for the province of Banteay Meanchey, where he also serves as a compilation officer.

"In the future, with the support of our member workers, I would like to continue to be an active member of the Collective Union of Movement of Workers and Equitable Workers Training."

Heng Rithy

Officer

Heng Rithy, has worked at CUMW since December, 2018. As a Mediation Officer in the Collective Union of Movement of Workers she has worked with labor disputes in factories in Prey Veng province.
