Phnom Penh: The technical working group of the Collective Union of Movement of Workers (CUMW) led by Mr. Preap Mony Sovann, General Secretary of the Confederation of Cambodian Worker-Movement (CCW), on January 13, 2023, met with the Executive Director of Alliance Network for Social Accountability (ANSA). Dr. San Chey to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

The meeting was held in order to strengthen the cooperation between the two institutions, especially to strengthen the capacity of the technical working group of CUMW and to make it a professional civil society organization in Cambodia.

ANSA and CUMW have established good relations together since 2020, exchanging work experiences with each other, and both sides are committed to further enhancing bilateral cooperation.

Mr. Preap Mony Sovann said that this meeting is to strengthen the capacity of the leaders and officials of CUMW due to the changing work environment in the era of Industry 4.0.

He said, "Learning and capacity building is like eating daily food. All leaders, officials and union members of CUMW must strengthen their capacity to adapt to the current work environment".

He praised the meeting, saying that "CUMW is committed to implementing all the points we have discussed in order to achieve tangible results."
