Phnom Penh: The Prime Minister of Cambodia Samdech Hun Manet, in a meeting with 18,108 workers from 13 factories based in Phnom Penh's Kambol district, thanked the unions who work independently and professionally. The Prime Minister urged the unions as well as the professional organizations to play their professional roles for the workers' representatives, do not take the name of the union but gather the workers to do other work, especially political work. Work to represent the rights of workers, do not take refuge under this picture, please arrange according to their professional skills.
"The rights and freedoms of our tens of thousands of workers, and I thank all of our unions for working to represent the workers well in resolving or negotiating benefits for the workers to come peacefully, this is the tradition we have to do." He said.
The Prime Minister added that for resolving disputes, please do so effectively and efficiently, stating that the first settlement mechanism is to resolve disputes on the spot. Do not let small things become big things, no things become big things.
