Phnom Penh: Mr. Pav Sina, President of the Collective Union of Movement of Workers, urged the Ministry of Health to look into the case of a woman who had a stillbirth treated at the Derm Angkrong Maternity Hospital.

Mr. Pav Sina said, "I urge the Ministry of Health to look into this case as soon as possible at the Derm Angkrong Maternity Hospital for the negligence of the midwives." He added, "I wish her a speedy recovery."

His appeal comes after a case of a woman victim who was five months pregnant due to a stillbirth and the victim went to the hospital and maternity ward above and was injured due to the negligence of Midwifery staff.

In a message posted on social media about the event, Savoeun, her husband, wrote, "Please everyone. Help her. She is pregnant. Five months old, the baby is in her womb, go to a clinic. On the national road 3. She went to the abortion service. The first time, she was fine but after feeling weak she returned and there was an accident”. Her husband continued, “It was not her placenta, that she had a solid gut”.

After the above problems, the hospital sent the patient to a major hospital without taking responsibility for the problem.
