Kampong Speu: On the morning of January 26, 2026, more than 2,000 workers—both male and female—from the Triumphant Dragon (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. footwear factory staged a protest that escalated to blocking National Road 3 near Deum Raka Market in Vaal, Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province, because the factory has failed to pay annual bonuses to workers for the past three years.

Similar protests have occurred frequently in the past, but under the careful attention of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, disputes have been resolved quickly and permanently. In this case involving the Triumphant Dragon (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. factory as well, we hope a fair and rapid resolution for the workers will be reached soon.
