CUMW Continues Delivering Humanitarian Aid to Frontline Soldiers in Preah Vihear and Anlong Veng

Siem Reap: On December 24, 2025, Pav Sina, President of the Collective Union of Movement of Workers (CUMW), continued delivering humanitarian aid—including 600 kilograms of ambok, 50 kilograms of dried pork (packaged into approximately 1,200 portions), 94 cartons of noodles, 70 cartons of canned fish, 200 hammocks, 260 jackets, 95 cartons of soy sauce, 79 sacks of rice, 40 kilograms of garlic, and 700 cartons of purified water—to frontline soldiers in the Preah Vihear and Anlong Veng areas.

This marks the second round of aid within a week, following the delivery of humanitarian support to evacuated civilians in Thma Kol and Barvel districts, Battambang province, as well as to border guards in the Boeung Trakuan area, Banteay Meanchey province, on December 20, 2025.

These donations were received from generous contributors both in Cambodia and abroad, local union leaders, and workers from various factories and enterprises through CUMW.

CUMW President Pav Sina once again expressed profound gratitude for the patriotic spirit and unity—embodied in the motto “Khmer love Khmer, Khmer help Khmer, one Khmer”—shown by union leaders, workers, employees, and especially Cambodians overseas. They contributed funds, condiments, groceries, and food supplies through CUMW, which continues to mobilize additional humanitarian aid for evacuated civilians and frontline soldiers.

The Collective Union of Movement of Workers is actively mobilizing further humanitarian support for the brave soldiers steadfastly defending the motherland against the most ferocious and brutal invasion by Thai forces, as well as for evacuated civilians enduring great hardship after fleeing to safe areas.

He emphasized that this outpouring of support in difficult times reflects strong national solidarity and trust in the Royal Government of Cambodia. It also demonstrates the noble Cambodian tradition of respect, compassion, and sharing in times of hardship, while expressing the deepest gratitude for the sacrifices—lives, flesh, and blood—of our courageous soldiers. They fight to repel Thai military aggression, protect the well-being of civilians in rear areas, and strengthen our national defense, united under the powerful banner: “Khmer solidarity, Khmer strength” in the battle against territorial invaders.

He added that CUMW is committed to continuing its efforts to seek humanitarian aid relentlessly—like steady rain—to help alleviate the difficulties faced by evacuated civilians and to repay the brave soldiers and border guards standing firm against the invading enemy.

At the same time, Pav Sina extended his deepest thanks to all generous donors and his profound gratitude to the brave soldiers protecting the integrity of our beloved land and people.
