Phnom Penh: The Collective Union of Movement of Workers (CUMW) continues to strengthen its commitment to a culture of sharing, one of its core values, emphasizing unity and cooperation among its members.

From the national leadership to the local leadership and all members of the CUMW have consistently respected the culture of sharing when a member encounters difficulties.

In each factory, there are always gatherings according to their ability to help any member who is experiencing difficulties such as childbirth, illness and other accidents, to help ease some of the burdens and difficulties of the members.

In fact, CUMW's President, Pav Sina, called on all local union leaders to join in raising funds from their local members to contribute to helping ease the burden of various expenses of Ms. San Chamroeun, President of the Workers’ Movement Union of COBEST SECOND (Cambodia) Garment, CO. LTD, who was seriously injured in a recent traffic accident.

Pav Sina Said "Your participation is very important to Ms. San Chamroeun and her family, and also a demonstration of solidarity within our cUMW family,".

Founded in 2010, CUMW operates independently to advocate for the rights of workers in Cambodia, including in the garment and construction sectors. The professional body aims to improve working conditions and promote social dialogue through collective bargaining, and a culture of sharing will remain its core values.
