Mission

Collective Union of Movement of Workers (CUMW) is a professionally democratic, independent organization, which has its mission as the following:
- Organizing the local union representatives at the enterprise level in Cambodia
-Building capacities for the national leaders, local union leaders and members
- Protecting and promoting the freedom of workers, employees based on the legal procedures and on being nonprofitable
- Improving the working conditions for workers at workplace, and build industrial relations based on the social dialogue through the tripartite mechanism
- Improving the living standard of workers through the negotiation for the annual minimum wage increase
- Building network with other national and international unions, which have the same vision
- Improving the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) through the bipartite negotiation between the union and employer
- Improving the gender equality by providing an opportunity to women to participate in all activities, and eliminating the gender-base violence and harassment at workplace
- Campaigning, Advocating to urge the national and international laws and other labor standards to be fully respected
Vision
The Collective Union of Movement of Workers wants to see workers in the garment, footwear, bag and other sectors in Cambodia get better working conditions, labor rights fully respected, and a decent and dignified standard of living.
Values
Respect: workers, employees, who are union members, entitled to have respectful rights and freedom
Accountability: All activities of Collective Union of Movement of Workers (CUMW) are transparent and responsible willingness
Governance: Leading in a line with all policies stipulated, that has been jointly implementing as well as the monitoring from the national and local institutions
Willingness: Our solidarity is pushing us, CUMW, to complete our mission in order to improve the working conditions, security, and llving standards of workers in dignity
